Who We Are
People of Power LLC is a Missouri-based limited liability company dedicated to the empowerment, development, and well-being of youth, young adults, and families in the St. Louis metropolitan area. We operate from a historic 1899 building at 3850 Sullivan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63107 — a space we are transforming into a safe, supportive, and resource-rich community hub.
Our organization was created in direct response to the unmet needs of young people in our community — youth who possess tremendous potential but lack consistent access to mentorship, mental health resources, educational support, and positive community connections. People of Power exists to close that gap.
We serve children, teens, and young adults ages 6 through 25, as well as their families and other vulnerable individuals in our community. Our approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that every person — regardless of background, ability, or circumstance — deserves the opportunity to discover and unleash their power.
Mission
To empower youth and young adults through mentoring, leadership development, mental wellness awareness, autism advocacy, and positive community engagement — equipping them with the tools, confidence, and community to reach their full potential.
Vision
A St. Louis where every young person — regardless of zip code, background, or ability — has access to the support, resources, and community they need to become a powerful, positive force in their own life and in the world around them.
Program Areas
Connecting youth ages 6–18 with trained adult mentors who provide consistent guidance, life skills development, and academic support through structured one-on-one relationships.
Equipping teens and young adults ages 14–25 with communication skills, civic responsibility, and the confidence to lead in their schools, families, and communities.
Creating stigma-free spaces for youth to access mental health education, peer support groups, and licensed professional resources — because mental wellness is the foundation of everything.
Providing inclusive resources, individualized support plans, and family advocacy for youth on the autism spectrum — ensuring every learner has the tools they need to thrive.
Uniting youth, families, and neighbors through service projects, cultural events, and collaborative initiatives that strengthen community bonds and create lasting positive change.
